1. Our Role as an Intermediary

  1. Facilitation Only: GO Logistics is a platform that connects those who need to ship goods (“Clients”) with available transporters (“Transporters”). We do not directly provide transportation services, nor do we operate a fleet or own any vehicles.
  2. Service Providers: All shipping and delivery services are performed by independent Transporters who operate under their own terms and conditions. GO Logistics merely facilitates communication and coordination between Clients and Transporters.

2. Shipping Arrangements

  1. Booking Requests: Clients submit shipping requests on our Site, specifying details such as type of goods, pickup location, and delivery address. Transporters then review these requests and accept them at their discretion.
  2. Delivery Terms: Once a Transporter accepts a Client’s request, both parties may agree on delivery timelines, costs, handling requirements, and any other special conditions. GO Logistics is not a party to these terms.
  3. Documentation: Any necessary documentation (e.g., bills of lading, customs paperwork) must be prepared by Clients and Transporters based on the type of goods and route. GO Logistics does not prepare or verify any shipping documentation.

3. Shipping Fees and Charges

  1. Pricing: Transporters set their own fees for shipping and delivery. These fees may vary based on distance, volume, weight, handling requirements, and other factors.
  2. Additional Fees: Any additional charges (e.g., customs, duties, taxes, tolls, storage fees) are the responsibility of the Client and/or Transporter as agreed in their separate arrangement. GO Logistics is not liable for any such fees.
  3. Platform Fees: In some cases, GO Logistics may charge a platform fee or service fee for facilitating bookings. Any such fees will be clearly disclosed before the Client confirms the booking.

4. Delivery Timeframes

  1. Estimated Times: Delivery times provided on our Site or by Transporters are estimates only. Actual delivery times may vary due to weather, route changes, transportation delays, or other unforeseen events.
  2. Delays: GO Logistics is not responsible for any delays, losses, or damages arising from delayed pickups or deliveries. Any issues related to delayed shipping must be resolved directly between the Client and the Transporter.
  3. Updates and Tracking: If a Transporter offers shipment tracking or status updates, Clients are encouraged to use these channels for the most accurate delivery information. GO Logistics does not handle real-time tracking or provide direct updates on shipment status.

5. Risk of Loss and Insurance

  1. Risk Transfer: The risk of loss or damage to goods transfers to the Transporter upon pickup and remains with the Transporter until delivery to the Client (or the designated consignee).
  2. Insurance Coverage: Transporters may or may not carry cargo insurance. It is the Client’s responsibility to verify the Transporter’s insurance coverage for high-value or sensitive shipments. GO Logistics does not provide insurance coverage for any shipments.
  3. Claims: All claims for damage, loss, or delay must be handled directly between the Client and the Transporter. GO Logistics will not be liable for damages but may assist in facilitating communication between the parties if requested.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

  1. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations are subject to the terms agreed upon between the Client and the Transporter. Some Transporters may impose cancellation fees if a shipment is canceled after a certain period.
  2. Refunds: If a payment was made through our platform, any refund (in full or partial) due to cancellation or other reasons is at the discretion of the Transporter (or as otherwise stipulated in their contract). GO Logistics will process refunds only upon the instruction or authorization of the Transporter, if applicable.
  3. Disputes: Any dispute regarding refunds, cancellations, or service quality should be resolved directly between the Client and the Transporter.

7. Client Responsibilities

  1. Accurate Information: Clients must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information regarding shipment details, including pickup and delivery addresses, contact persons, and any special handling instructions.
  2. Proper Packaging: Clients are responsible for ensuring that goods are adequately packaged for transportation.
  3. Regulatory Compliance: Clients must ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and customs requirements for shipping certain goods. Prohibited or restricted items must not be shipped without proper authorization.

8. Limitation of Liability

  1. No Warranties: GO Logistics makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding any Transporter’s performance or capacity to deliver goods on time or in good condition.
  2. Indirect Damages: To the fullest extent permitted by law, GO Logistics will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from shipping delays, losses, or delivery failures.
  3. Claims: Any claims related to shipping or delivery must be directed to the responsible Transporter. GO Logistics may assist in communication but is not liable for settlement of such claims.

9. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify or update this Shipping and Delivery Policy at any time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to periodically review this Policy for any changes.
